Measuring research practices with metadata: A first look at Open Science Indicators for librarians
How prevalent are Open Science practices? How does Open Science adoption vary among different communities? Has it changed over time? Where do barriers to Open Science practice persist?

These are the types of questions that we hope to explore through Open Science Indicators (OSIs), a new initiative developed by PLOS in partnership with DataSeer. OSIs use Natural Language Processing to identify and track specific Open Science behaviors in published research articles.

Join us for a first look at Open Science Indicators, and a live discussion covering:
Project background, development and parameters
Working to support Open Science
OSI dataset, scope, and use cases

Stay, to ask questions and share your feedback—we want to know what data and presentation are most useful to you!
